The Greeks and heroes of Greek mythology
The return to the island of Serifos
After a few days, the newlyweds Perseus and Andromeda arrived on the island of Serifos. Much had been the time and many adventures lived. Since the young Perseus left the island in search of Medusa's head, a trophy he had promised to the hated King Polydectes as a wedding gift.
A head that was now enclosed in the magic bag that the nymphs had given him. As imprisoned was also his mother, poor Danae, who accompanied by Dictys the fisherman had had to take shelter in the temple of Athena. And it is that the wedding scheduled by Polydectes was nothing but a ploy to get Perseus away and as soon as he left the island, Polydectes returned to his insistent ways wanting Danae to be his at all costs.
