Prometheus
Is the titan friend of mortals, known mainly for defying the gods by stealing fire from them in the stem of a reed, giving it to men for use and subsequently being punished by Zeus for this reason. Prometheus was the father of Deucalion and grandfather of Helen.
As the introducer of fire and inventor of sacrifice, Prometheus is regarded as the protective titan of human civilization.
